Anu, a kind 20-year-old, and Aryavardhan, a resolute 45-year-old businessman, defy societal norms and family resistance, overcoming struggles to demonstrate that love transcends age or boundaries.
Raised in a middle-class family, Anu lives with her parents, Gopal and Pushpa. Aryavardhan, a noted businessman known for being extremely punctual, meets Anu for the first time on his way to an event.
College students mock Anu, who comes on stage to give a speech, but Aryavardhan encourages her. At the suggestion of some students, Aryavardhan gives Anu a blank cheque, showing his trust in her.
Anu tells Gopal and Pushpa about the blank cheque, sparking greed in Pushpa. The next morning, Anu visits Aryavardhan’s office to return it, only to be shocked by an empty envelope.
Meera ousts Anu from the office. Aryavardhan learns of it and makes Meera apologise. Anu, worried about the lost cheque, rushes to the bank with Gopal after learning that Pushpa went to deposit it.
Meera gives Anu a written apology. Anu returns Aryavardhan’s cheque, prompting him to set a condition in exchange. She calms an infuriated Pushpa, but the neighbourhood women mock Pushpa.
Anu, Pushpa and Gopal face humiliation at Aryavardhan’s party entrance until he arrives and takes them in. During the event, Aryavardhan asks Anu to launch the new product herself.
At the party, Meera gets Gopal drunk and has him humiliated. Aryavardhan scolds Meera for her behaviour and apologises to Gopal. Later, he makes a promise to Anu.
Anu collects money to host a party for Aryavardhan. Meanwhile, he cancels a meeting to spend time with her, upsetting Meera. Jhende keeps an eye on them but soon loses track.
Aryavardhan experiences a simple life with Anu. Later, he saves her from an accident, but Raghu, the father of a suitor coming to see Anu, sees them on the street.
Raghu visits Anu’s house and refuses to get his son Vipin married to her. Aryavardhan arrives, scolds Raghu, and offers Anu a job. The next day, Raghu returns to her house with a secret motive.
Raghu explains to Rajni the motive behind marrying Vipin to Anu. Meanwhile, Aryavardhan promotes Meera and makes Anu her assistant. However, Anu makes a mistake on her first day.
Aryavardhan surprises Meera and others by changing an office rule for Anu. She tries to put Anu down during introductions, but Aryavardhan defends her by revealing her strengths.

Aryavardhan is shocked to learn that Anu is engaged to Vipin. Jhende makes him realise that he’s fallen for Anu, but also discourages him from pursuing the relationship.
Gopal opposes Anu’s marriage to Vipin and returns Raghupati’s gifted fridge. Meanwhile, Jhende shares news with Aryavardhan. Meera grows jealous seeing Aryavardhan dine with Anu.
Aryavardhan's brother Harshvardhan comes to the office, but Anu stops him from meeting Aryavardhan. In anger, Harshvardhan orders Anu to be fired and informs Aryavardhan about it.
Relying on Anu’s job, Pushpa buys an expensive saree for her on installments. Anu hides the fact that she has lost her job. The next day, she calls Aryavardhan, but Meera disconnects the call.
Anu realises she is falling for Aryavardhan and prays to the Goddess for clarity. Soon, Aryavardhan arrives at the temple, finds Anu, and asks her to come to the office the next day.
Bholi’s husband gifts her a scooter, but Pushpa accidentally damages it. Meanwhile, Aryavardhan convinces Harshvardhan to rehire Anu, who invites him to a religious gathering.
Anu decorates a doll resembling Aryavardhan for 'Mata ki Chowki'. When he visits her home, he invites his foreign delegates to join him. Seeing the doll, Aryavardhan questions Anu’s feelings for him.
Aryavardhan praises Anu for her saree, sparking Meera’s jealousy. Determined to win his attention, Meera sets a plan in motion. Meanwhile, Raghupati schemes to marry Anu off to Vipin.
Gopal refuses to take help from Raghupati. Anu tells Simran that she has fallen in love with Aryavardhan. Meanwhile, Pushpa plans Anu’s marriage with Bipin and then visits Aryavardhan’s office.
At Pushpa's invitation, Aryavardhan visits Anu's house for dinner. Pushpa sends Anu and Gopal out of the house on some pretext and talks to Aryavardhan about Anu's marriage.
Pushpa requests Aryavardhan to persuade Anu to marry Bipin. The fortune-teller Siddhi Mata predicts Anu's marriage, and later, Anu decides to find out Aryavardhan's marital status.
Meera scolds Anu for trying to find out about Aryavardhan’s personal life. Aryavardhan asks Anu for her opinion about marriage. Later, FM, a peon, tells Anu something, which shatters her.
Anu prays for a way to resolve her dilemma, and Siddhi Mata comes to her doorstep. Aryavardhan's mother organises a puja, and he arrives at home to attend it. Simran asks Anu to look into Mrs Vardhan.
Aryavardhan gives a gift to his mother. Pushpa calls Aryavardhan to talk about Anu's marriage, and Aryavardhan's mother misunderstands the situation. Later, she asks Jhende about Anu.
Aryavardhan calls Anu to meet him, but when Gopal learns that it’s part of Pushpa’s plan, he gets angry. In her dreams, Anu confesses love to Aryavardhan, but in reality, she is shocked by his words.

Raghupati gives Pushpa eight days to convince Gopal for Anu and Bipin's marriage. When the gas cylinder runs out at home, Anu goes to the office hungry. Meanwhile, Gopal is fired from his job.

Anu gets sad as Aryavardhan doesn't show up at the restaurant. Meanwhile, he locks himself in a room, and Manasi vows to uncover the secret of that room. Meera stirs up trouble for Anu at the office.
Pushpa and Rajni get into an argument. Meanwhile, Anu seeks Gopal's help for a presentation at office and puts forth a proposal for increasing sales for Rajnandini Sarees before the investors.
