Godavari, an artisan, is globally famous for her handmade Paithani sarees. When she decides to retire, her daughter sets out to get her the gift of a lifetime - the last Paithani she wove.
Godavari, a skilled weaver, crafts magnificent Paithani sarees despite her deteriorating eyesight. Her daughter, Kaveri, is a school teacher who dreams of gifting her mother the last saree she weaves.
Kaveri takes a loan for the Paithani and places an advance order. However, when the order is misplaced, Kaveri’s grandmother steps in to recover the lost money with a selfless act.
Kaveri’s efforts to recover the Paithani order lead her to the vendor who misplaced the order. She decides to go to Mumbai to sort out the issue. Although hesitant, Godavari gives her blessings.
