Soo Yeon is absolutely certain that Yu Ra has somehow managed to get her hands on Soo Yeon’s design. However, Soo Yeon is having trouble proving her innocence and is also on the edge of getting fired from the company. Now that she has lost everything, Soo Yeon must prove that the design was actually hers at all costs.
Soo Yeon is able to get her hands on a piece of evidence that proves her innocence. However, Yu Ra doesn’t admit that she has copied Soo Yeon’s work even after seeing the photo. Soo Yeon gets reinstated as a senior manager on another team, and she now has to compete with Yu Ra to prove who’s better. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon looks deeper into finding the truth behind her dad’s accident.
Dong Ha starts to worry and becomes concerned about the attacks Soo Yeon has to face by the SA Group's family. He even takes her out to buy a new dress because Jin A ruined the outfit she was wearing. Meanwhile, Yu Ra leaves Seo Jun, who had come to tour the company, all by himself.
Rumors of Dong Ha being Soo Yeon's sponsor go around SA Group, and everyone shuns Soo Yeon and gives her a hard time. Jin A hears about the rumor and becomes infuriated. She plans to teach Soo Yeon a lesson and heads to confront her.
Yu Ra becomes jealous after seeing Soo Yeon and Jin Woo together and plans something of her own. Jin Woo denies having lingering feelings for Soo Yeon, but he questions if she really cheated on him. Meanwhile, Dong Ha learns that the post on the company's bulletin board came from the design team.
Soo Yeon’s carefully planned strategy publicly exposes Jin A’s true character, and the entire group faces a crisis because of it. Meanwhile, Hwa Yeong focuses on finding the person who is behind the recent happenings. At the same time, Soo Yeon swears that she will never let anyone mistreat her moving forward.
Seeing Soo Yeon leaning her head over Dong Ha’s shoulders was too shocking for Jin Woo to the point where he confused Yu Ra with Soo Yeon. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon learns that Seo Jun is sick, but there is nothing she can do for him. Sensing that something is seriously wrong, she decides to just visit Seo Jun even though she’s not allowed to.
Sun Tae lets Soo Yeon take Seo Jun home so that she can care for him. Soo Yeon takes Seo Jun to see a neuropsychiatrist and learns about all the suffering he has been going through. Meanwhile, Sun Tae tells Hwa Yeong that he wants a divorce.
Jin A posts that she is self-reflecting by serving homeless people food. However, Mi Sook and Dae Chul get word that she is putting on a show and decide to expose the truth. Meanwhile, Young Ji sees Dae Chul and begins to fall for his handsome looks.
Soo Yeon helps Dong Ha prepare for the top 100 global leaders interview, while Yu Ra dresses Jin Woo in the finest suit for the same interview. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon finds something suspicious about Yu Ra and Yu Ra's friend who came from abroad.
A stranger takes Soo Yeon hostage with a knife to her throat. Fortunately, Dong Ha is able to safely rescue her without seriously getting injured. However, Soo Yeon later gets accused of hiring a man to stage a hostage situation. Meanwhile, Yu Ra receives a message from an unknown sender, and she is not happy about it.
Soo Yeon’s little scheme exposes a little secret about Yu Ra’s college degree. But the news does not sway either Hwa Yeong or Yu Ra. Meanwhile, Dong Ha is worried that Yu Ra’s actions may backfire on her. Meanwhile, Yu Ra thinks there is something suspicious about her housemaid, Young Ji.
Yu Ra eventually finds out how Young Ji is related to Soo Yeon. Knowing that she can not afford to pay penalties for breach of the confidential agreement, Young Ji keeps the fact that she got caught by Yu Ra a secret from Soo Yeon. Meanwhile, Dong Ha is worried that Soo Yeon might misinterpret his relationship with Jin A.
The audit team investigates Soo Yeon for selling new material patents. Hwa Yeong tries to fire her, but instead, she gets put on a leave of absence with Dong Ha's help. Meanwhile, Dong Ha finds new information as he tries to clear Soo Yeon's name.
Soo Yeon takes Jin Woo to Hye Kyung's house, using Seo Jun as an excuse. However, Dong Ha, who witnesses Soo Yeon and Jin Woo leaving the office together, gets bothered by it. Meanwhile, Yu Ra freaks out when she sees the contents of a parcel with no return address.
Dong Ha hears about Mi Sook and Soo Yeon’s trip to Hwa Yeong’s house and is extremely worried. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon waits for an opportunity to find what she came for, but something goes horribly wrong. Yu Ra gets a threatening phone call from a restricted caller, but she has no intentions of backing down.

Hwa Yeong lets herself into Jin Woo’s office and finds out that Soo Yeon is after her son’s custody. Soo Yeon’s plan to get Seo Jun back fails, and she takes a step back for the moment. Meanwhile, Mi Sook invites people over in return for the recent dinner invitation. However, things go south for Jin Woo when Yu Ra sees him and Soo Yeon standing a bit too close to each other.
Clues that Yu Ra has a past that Hwa Yeong does not know about appear here and there. However, Yu Ra's fake parents make a big mistake by talking about Yu Ra out in a public place. At the meeting for the development of the new brand, Hwa Yeong witnesses evidence that Yu Ra's parents might be fake.
Hwa Yeong's house gets turned upside down. With Yu Ra's fake parents on their knees, Yu Ra tells Hwa Yeong she's pregnant with Jin Woo's child, and Jin Woo tells Hwa Yeong he wants to divorce Yu Ra. Meanwhile, Mi Sook, who knows what happened at Hwa Yeong's, asks Soo Yeon if she will get back together with Jin Woo.
Jin Woo is furious at Hwa Yeong for wrongfully accusing Soo Yeon of having an affair and wants to undo his divorce. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon looks for an opportunity to acquire more shares of SA Group, and that’s when she learns about Director Ma. Soo Yeon takes a risk of getting something on him, but Dong Ha finds it too dangerous for her.
Although Soo Yeon does feel safe and protected around Dong Ha, she doesn’t respond to Dong Ha’s love confession right away. Meanwhile, Dong Ha learns about the whereabouts of the person whom Soo Yeon has been looking for and delivers the message to Soo Yeon. Soo Yeon immediately starts looking for him.
Soo Yeon learns the truth behind the fabrication of her dad’s autopsy result after convincing the doctor to share all the details about the autopsy. Soo Yeon barges into Hwa Yeong’s house and loses her temper. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon comes across one of Mi Sook’s shoes with a familiar brand on it and tells Mi Sook how it is related to her.
SA Group faces humiliation for swapping the materials used in their products. They come under fire by the media and their customers, and their simple written apology won't do. Meanwhile, Mi Sook stirs the pot and tells Hwa Yeong she might withdraw her investment in the company.
Jin Woo starts to lose his trust in Hwa Yeong after Yu Ra's miscarriage. He blames her for what happened to Soo Yeon as well. Meanwhile, Hye Kyung runs into Yu Ra coincidentally. She remembers Yu Ra from somewhere but can't quite remember.
