PONG's lawyer is able to pinpoint the weak points of every piece of evidence but MEI hands in more evidence and at last PONG is proved guilty and sentenced to capital punishment and KUNG is also put behind bars. MEI is happy as CHING is proved innocent but she is sad as her brother has been sent to jail.
PONG meets KUNG in the prison. They hate each other and at last PONG traps KUNG and kill s him. No one suspects PONG as the killer. PONG's behaviour in the prison is very good as he wants to be set free early. However he has blood cancer and he feels hopeless. After years' struggle, CHING is successful in his career. PONG gives up all hopes and MEI is sad to see this. She feels guilty and applies to the government to have PONG be released. PONG is not touched by MEI's kind act. He just want to take revenge. He pretends to be good in front of the others and in fact he waits for a suitable chance. One day he has a chance but CHING is not trapped. However, YUEN is involved and this breaks up YUEN's family , CHING and MEI are sad to see this. YUEN loses his mind and wants to go and kill PONG. In the street he comes across the police and is killed. He is not contented.

CHINF’s anger has arrived at its climax and MEI is hit and faints.
