Toru (Tanaka Koki), a delinquent high schooler who spends his days fighting and consistently ranks last on academic tests, is finally called out by his mother, Reiko (Sato Eriko). Nervously excited at their first outing together, Toru watches as Kishikishi gazes up at the beautiful full moon on their way home and suddenly... On the day of the festival, the group is confronted by delinquents from another school, but they avoid fighting and cleverly outmaneuver them. Assigned to play ghosts in the haunted house, Toru and Kishikishi work together to protect frightened kids.
