Jordán and Cornelia are two young kids who, in the dead of night, are trying to escape the angry mob accusing them of murder. Fearing for their lives, they flee from the law, from the supernatural and even from themselves.
Terrified, covered in blood and not daring to look back, Jordán and Cornelia flee in the middle of the night through a desert landscape. Despite being just children, they are relentlessly pursued by a group of people, thirsty for revenge. Luckily, they find a hiding place in the dark, but not for long.
A huge bus has pulled up in the town square. In front of it, Caterina Izara, an enlightened woman imbued with an atrocious conservatism, holds a rally for the locals who acclaim her as a deity.
